OUR STORY
FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
It all started in the year of 1969 when Leonard Gillier bought his first Wheel Machine. He teamed up with his wife Geriann and uncle Frank and they started making a name for themselves installing clay tile networks around Chatham-Kent. For several years, these networks were primarily comprised of clay tile until plastic tile hit the market in the mid 70’s.

Eventually; Leonard began building his OWN Wheel Machine – finally completing it in 1979. This innovation led to even more production and efficiency. Soon enough Leonard brought his sons Tim and Bob on board to help bolster the workforce.
Things progress
In 1998, after almost 3 decades of hard work – Leonard retired and handed the reigns over to his son Tim. Together Tim and his wife Kellie continued to grow the company until 2007 when another big milestone took place – the purchase of a Drainage Plow. To make the work force even stronger – Tim’s brother-in-law Erick joined the team and became not only a certified Plow operator, but a legitimate business partner as well.

The next few years saw exponential growth. Not only was Gillier now an industry leader in drainage tile, but they also branched out into other avenues such as wind energy, septic systems, and even greenhouse projects.
GILLIER GROUP AS OF NOW
In the last decade, the company has continued to grow even more, and as of now - Gillier and its affiliates sit at over 35 employees. We have two dedicated plow crews, a hydro-vac division, and even a utility locating division.
And of course we now have a fully realized construction division which has allowed us to greatly expand the services we can provide our clients.

The ever-expanding growth of Gillier has enabled Tim and Erick to join up with new co-owners Caden Gillier, Jesse Golding, and Spencer Mason. Together they aim to carry out the same values and workmanship established by Leonard decades ago.
